Please Tell Me

Please tell me.
Tell me that you remember the old me.
The one who wasn’t triggered by everything.
The one who didn’t struggle with every small thing.
The one who didn’t complain and need guidance with every little thing.

Please tell me, that you remember the old me.
And please, please remind me again and again that the new me will be a better me.

That the new me will be an improved me.
That the new me will be a better version of me.
That the new me will be a healthier me.

Please, please tell me you truly believe that.
That the new me will be just fine.

    My dear fellow jew,

In ours prayer liturgy it is said in the morning Elokai Neshama

“The soul that You, my God, have given me is pure.
    You created it,You formed it,
    You breathed it into me,
    You protect it within me”

The new you will be a better you! You have the potential to tab into that power of purity. The power to discover & embrace that realself you so want to become the version of who you are.

Hashem grants you your Neshama back, every morning because he has faith in you that you your old and new self are wonderful.
