As I sit here writing, my eyelashes grow heavier. Suddenly tears come down my eyes. They pass my cheeks down my neck, finally hitting the discolored yellow pages from my journal. My handwriting is as messy as my thoughts. I will listen to what you said, that same word that left me heartbroken, and be selfish. I will guard myself. I have however, one last prayer.
I pray for you to look at yourself the way I look at you.
I pray for you to notice your inner worth and realize your immeasurable potential.
I pray for you to get in touch with your noble self.
I pray for you to treasure your unique kindness, your motivated acts of purity and love.
I pray for others to perceive you as the brilliant, rare and magnificent diamond you are, not a mere simple stone.
I pray for the world to give you opportunities to shine and make it emanate happiness.
I pray for you to make your parents proud.
I pray for you to understand how lucky they were to have you.
I pray for you to attain incredible balance and bring harmony to your home.
I pray for you to become that spiritual compass you so strive to be for humanity.
I pray for you to accomplish all those goals and dreams, which I loved hearing all about.
Lastly, I pray for you to find the right person who will respect and value who you truly are at your core: sensitive, strong, driven and good.
